Orlando, Florida, November 7, 2023: Virtas Partners announces the appointment of Brian Heckler as its Head of Strategy and Development.
Virtas Partners is a boutique consulting firm that acts as a nimble and adaptive partner to help clients accelerate through major financial transitions across the company lifecycle including acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, IPOs, accounting investigations, restatements, and restructurings.
Heckler joins Virtas after a storied 39-year career at KPMG, where he led KPMG’s Industrial Manufacturing sector and served as a Global Lead Account Partner for several Fortune 100 Manufacturers and Conglomerates in the Automotive, Aerospace, Energy and Healthcare Equipment, HVAC and Security Systems manufacturing and services companies. He is also an innovative leader who has launched new business opportunities for KPMG from conceptualization to scale and on-going long-term value creation, including KPMG’s Accounting Advisory Services.
Heckler is an experienced leader in developing and advancing accounts and executive relationships, conceiving and building solutions, capabilities, teams and markets. He is experienced in leading some of KPMG’s largest and most complex projects for digital and business model transformations, financial accounting and SEC reporting issues, mergers acquisitions and divestitures, forensic investigations, litigation support and expert witness testimony, auditing, policy development, contract negotiations, large proposals, professional practice, compliance and risk management, and regulatory oversight.
He adds significant depth of leadership for industry, market, client, network and cross-functional project teams, professional development and new solution development and launch. He has a proven track record of professional services strategic planning, solution development and launch, go to market enablement, business planning, and portfolio management for accounts, offerings and solutions, both organically and inorganically through acquisition or alliances to meet market needs in a professional services environment.
As Head of Strategy and Development, Heckler will lead business development, strategic planning, our solution portfolio, and our inorganic opportunities as Virtas executes its aggressive growth strategy over the next 3 years.
