Amy Oglesby has joined Virtas Partners as a Director in the firm’s CFO Advisory Practice.
Virtas Partners is a boutique consulting firm helping clients successfully navigate key transitions, including acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, IPOs, accounting investigations and restatements, performance improvement, and capital placements.
Oglesby joins the firm’s Houston office as Virtas continues to expand into the Texas market. She joins Virtas with 16 years of experience acquired in publicly traded and private equity-backed corporations as well as Big 4 public accounting. Before joining Virtas, Oglesby utilized a strong technical research and financial reporting background to bring value to her clients at ESG Lynk where she developed ESG disclosure strategies and reports based on common frameworks and industry practices. Prior to her time at ESG Lynk, she served as Technical Accounting Manager at Houston-based Symplr, Director of External Reporting at Zurich-based The Adecco Group, and Assurance Manager at PwC in both the Houston and Zurich offices. Oglesby prides herself on providing excellent client service and has served clients in the software, professional services, hospitality, biotechnology, distribution and logistics, oilfield services, and midstream oil & gas industries. She has assisted companies with a variety of complex accounting matters including those related to revenue recognition, business combinations, share-based compensation, and variable interest entities.
