Our Summer Interns Contributing to Virtas Success Story

by | Jul 10, 2020

In an environment where many companies are cancelling internships, Virtas Partners has brought on two talented individuals with impressive backgrounds for summer internships.

  • Nima Malek Khosravi is a JD-MBA candidate at Northwestern University. Nima graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S. in finance before joining EY’s advisory practice in New York and then transitioning to a semi-conductor startup in Washington, DC. He will pursue a career “tackling novel and challenging issues at the nexus of law and business.” Now in his fourth week at Virtas, he has focused on capital placements, business development, and finance advisory – sourcing new business opportunities, creating a cash flow model, and assisting in the potential sale of a local business. In the next four weeks he will be rotating into restructuring and lending, along with another turn in finance advisory.
  • Kameron Johnson is a rising senior at University of Michigan. Kameron is a double major, pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration along with a Bachelor in Multidisciplinary Studies in Music (he is a professional jazz pianist). He has made significant contributions to multiple student organizations such as serving as Assistant Treasurer for the NAACP’s U-M Chapter, and being a member of the Student Engineering and Maintenance Staff for University Unions. This fall, Kameron will begin his tenure as Basileus and Chapter President of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity’s PHI Chapter. He spent the previous two summers with Morgan Stanley as a wealth management intern. During his time with Virtas Partners, Kameron will aid in the creation of a presentation showcasing a client’s Vision for 2025 to be presented to a major city government.
Despite the business, logistical and personal challenges we have faced the last four months, we are so thrilled and blessed to be able to continue our summer internship program and our growth as an organization,” said Neal McNamara, the firm’s cofounder and Managing Partner. “Welcome Nima and Kameron! We look forward to your contributions and personal growth and development with us this summer.”
